This fur felt fedora is luxurious yet practical. In keeping with Tilley
Hat traditions, it's crushable, packable and water resistant. The
inside Hydrofil®
lining is soft, warm and helps wick moisture away. Styled with a subtle
'pinch front' and molded crown, it has tuckaway ear warmers to help
keep you warm. In the secret pocket is a feather which, you may use to
adorn your Hat. Spot clean with a soft bristle brush.

Until now, all Tilley Hats were hand-sewn from cloth. Producing a
fedora required the age-old tradition of blocking hats using presses
and molds and shaping material using heat and steam. After searching
far and wide for an experienced, quality-driven hat manufactuer we
found it in the United States. We have teamed up with one of the most
established and well-respected of fedora hat manufacturers, a
fourth-generation hatter using state-of-the-art equipment to produce
our high quality, beautifully made Tilley Fedora. (P.S. It's the first
Tilley Hat made in U.S.A.)

PACKABLE
The Tilley Fedora can be packed flat in your suitcase and then
brought back to life by simply re-shaping it with your hands. The crown
will pop back to its original shape. Creases will fall out or, if deep,
can be steamed out.
CARE
Spot cleaning with a soft-bristled brush is all this hat requires to
get rid of any surface dirt. To keep your hat looking the same as the
day you bought it, brushing it in the direction of the felt will keep
it looking neat and ready to go. The Fedora must only be spot cleaned
with a soft-bristled brush or the guarantee is void. Do not wash and do

If you somehow get a stubborn crease, a light steaming will take care
of it. Place it in the bathroom while you shower and let the steam from
the shower work its magic.

Your Hat is guaranteed for life (yours, mine or its) not to wear
out or fall apart. We're delighted to think that yours may be passed on
to the next generation!
HAT INSURANCE?
It's also insured against loss. If you do lose it, or the family
dog destroys it, we'll replace it within two years of the purchase date
at half the current catalogue price, through our mail-order department.
We always try to meet our clients at least half way!
With your Hat, you'll be provided with "The Straight-Shooter's Statement of Loss of a Tilley Hat" insurance policy. Again, the insurance is for two years, all perils, 50% deductible, and is not issued by Lloyds. |
