I've traveled to 85 countries - half the world. I now work in Yemen, Botswana, Namibia, Libya and Algeria. I need a hat that protects from the sun, looks OK, is cool and easy to pack. This is it. The best development of the bush bucket hat - as envied by my ex-SAS colleagues! Mine has been through the washing machine three times with no noticeable problems, it's fading - nicely, and is more comfortable than ever. Should I buy another for backup? Probably. Knowing me and choice bits of kit, they'll stop making it tomorrow.
